I went to the Broncos vs. Steelers game yesterday to root for the black and gold. What an incredible game! We had the best seats, 14th row, 40th yard line on the east side, which of course means that I am terribly sunburned.

There were quite a few Terrible Towels in the stadium which made it even more fun. I had the good fortune to sit next to a guy who flew in from Pittsburgh for the game so I had someone to cheer and finally cry with.

The Broncos fans were mostly o.k. One drunken idiot a few rows back was yelling absurd things like, “Maddox shoulda been an ice skater because Dorothy Hamil could throw better than him.” “Cowher is a coward.” Brother, please.

One thing I haven’t shared with you yet is that I am an avid football fan. At the risk of people hunting me down, I am a HUGE!!!! Nebraska Cornhusker fan and I also love the Pittsburgh Steelers.

So, I was really disappointed to hear that Rush Limbaugh resigned today amid controversy over a “racist” comment he made.

Racist? How about true?!! Donovan McNabb is one of the most overrated QB’s in the league and it is true that he has had a lot of expectations placed on him because he is black. Truth hurts.

I’ll miss you, Rush. And so will ESPN as you helped pump up their ratings by 10% in your short tenure there.
