Back to Blogging

I am finally to a place in life again where the pace has relaxed and I feel like I have time to blog again.

The apartment is in order after a couple of evenings and afternoons spent scrubbing and such. I kind of like my little place even though it is a far cry from the lifestyle I was used to living. The building is suprisingly quiet, despite being filled with med students. The neighborhood is a lot more urban than I am used to, which is a nice change of pace.

Work is going well for a change. The days go by quickly, but not at a frantic pace. Business is good, which luckily, means life is good for the underlings.

My next life project is to find a church to go to. I haven’t gone regularly in about 3 years and maybe once in the last year. There is a pretty cool ELCA Lutheran church not far from my apartment. They have jazz vespers which is pretty hip for Lutherans. I have only been to a service there once before, and I wasn’t all that impressed, but I may need to investigate further into service offerings. I went to an incredible jazz concert there about 4 years ago to see “The Real Group”, an accapella, Swedish group. Great acoustics really complimented the music.
